Native bees are becoming more important as secondary pollinators with the decline of honey bees. Learn about many of the common native bees that frequent wildlife gardens, their relationship with native plants and how to attract, foster and identify native bees in our landscapes.
This talk will cover the nesting habitat, life cycle, pollen collection, brood rearing and native plants visited of 15 genera of native bees occurring in Minnesota.
Time: 7 pm - 8:45 pm (socializing and setup begins at 6:30 pm). Free and open to the public.
