Potluck Dinner, Annual Membership Meeting and Program, featuring Youth and Native Gardening Projects
Please join us for our Annual Board Meeting and Potluck Dinner!
Kris Martinka, Seeds for Education coordinator, will begin our program with a discussion about the value of youth education and native gardening, introducing guest students from the Clara Barton School, who will share their experiences working on their SFE project, and members of Girl Scout Troop 12974, who will present their Silver Pollinator Award Project completed this year at the Minnesota River Valley Izaak Walton League property.
The Minnesota River Valley Izaak Walton League site before and after (below) Erin and Faith Devery and Madison List planted a native pollinator garden. More plants will be added in the spring.
