Come learn about this unique and growing visual historical record of flora found in the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary–established in 1907, it is the oldest public wildflower garden in the United States. The Minnesota School of Botanical Art is the co-sponsor of the Florilegium, which began in 2010.

 Marilyn Garber is the founder of the Minnesota School of Botanical Art, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a Past-President of the American Society of Botanical Artists. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Horticultural Society in London, the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama City, Panama, the Queen Sirikit Royal Botanical Garden in Thailand, the Dahlem Botanical Garden and Museum in Berlin, Germany, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, New York, the Bell Museum of Natural History and the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Polymer clay artist Laura Burlis spent a month-long Artist Residency in Glacier National Park in July 2017. Come hear about her sojurn in the park, which was bookended by snowdrifts at the front end and severe wildfires at the back end. Learn about the ins and outs of being an artist-in-residence, and how the landscapes and changing climate of the park influenced her art.
