Tour of Andy Scott's Native Garden
Owner of ReWild Native Gardens, LLC
8418 DuPont Ave
Bloomington MN 55420
Andy and his husband moved to their home in east Bloomington 10 years ago and immediately began a methodical (ok - perhaps “slow”) process of converting the lawn and beds to native plantings. The goal has been to to create usable living and entertaining spaces that are beautiful but also support a myriad of insect and bird life. While there’s still room to grow, they now have diverse plantings that take advantage of various microclimates within the yard including a roadside prairie, dry shade woodland garden, and a small corner of the back yard dedicated to firefly habitat.
